Dr. Rachel Thomas
Rachel graduated from Colorado State University with and honors degree in Biology. She then went on to Glasgow University Veterinary school. Since graduating in 1997, Rachel has utilized her degree as a general practitioner. Her favorite place for attending continuing education seminars in Cornell university in Ithaca,NY. Rachel has a not so secret love of black labs, English setters, bears and fuzzy orange kittens. She and her husband Steve are keen lovers of the outdoors and can often be found on trails or hiking, biking, kayaking or photography hobbies. Gardening, reading and trying new recipes in the kitchen follow as close seconds.
Carolyn- Registered veterinary technician
Carolyn graduated from Northern College in Haileybury campus in 2017 as a Registered Veterinary Technician, and then in 2018 graduated from their Wildlife Rehabilitation program. She has been working in the veterinary, wildlife rehab and animal care field for since 2016 with a variety of different species. Carolyn is also a part of the Rabies Response Program for the Niagara Region. In her free time she enjoys being outside, hiking, spending time at her parents farm, and relaxing at home with her boyfriend and 2 cats, Geralt and Vader featured in the photo.
Kaitlyn knew she wanted to work with animals at the age of three when she got a Barbie Veterinary set as a gift. She started working at Bridgeview Animal Hospital in February 2020, but in 2009 she was also here for a high school co-op. Kaitlyn has many years’ experience with animals that include pet grooming, volunteering at the SPCA and working at different Veterinary Hospitals. She has several pets of her own that include two cats (Sushi and Trick), a rabbit (Cadbury), a Saint Bernard (Marleigh), and a pug (Meatball). Her and her husband love travelling especially to Jamaica. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!
